Andy’s recently published book “Machine Learning Engineering with Python” was referenced throughout his talk, with Andy’s central message being to “just do it” and get those techniques practiced and into production, rather than procrastinating around “what might be”!

- The importance of thinking about what production actually means as soon as possible!
- It's an iterative process so work on small elements (and build up your capability) on each lifecycle
- Things it can be good to think about as you get started on this journey include version control, CI/CD, model management and performance monitoring
